MAY 16  /  10 a.m.-5 p.m.  /  Unicoi Elementary School, Unicoi

STRAWBERRIES GALORE!
Join us for the 18th annual Wayne Scott Strawberry Festival, presented by the Town of Unicoi.
In honor of the most generous community member and founder of Scott's Farms, Wayne Scott, the festival is a celebration
of community spirit and neighborly support. Handmade Crafters, Churches and Non-Profit Organizations are the focus of the festival, but it has recently been opened to retail vendors at a higher rate to benefit local charities. This means there's plenty of shopping!

Held at Unicoi Elementary School, the downtown is filled with thousands of visitors and becomes a magical place where scrumtious food for all tastes, musical entertainment, special events, and quality arts and crafts blend together create the perfect atmosphere for family fun and community connection!

And did we mention the strawberries? Scott's Farms has a reputation for growing the most delicious strawberries in the region and since their booth is usually sold-out before 2 p.m., it's obvious they're doing something right!

LIVE MUSIC
The Strawberry Festival features live entertainment from local and regional musical groups playing styles such as bluegrass, country and rockabilly. Five bands perform throughout the day as guests dance in the field, so bring a lawn chair and stay awhile!

FOOD VENDORS
Enjoy tasty festival favorites from a variety of vendors and swing by the Ruritan shed for a hot dog lunch! All food vendors are non-profit organizations, so guests are giving back to the communty while enjoying an event that brings everyone together!

CRAFTERS MARKET
More than 100 local artisans will sell their wares on the school's field, offering guests a wide range of handmade gifts and decor. Visitors will discover handmade items like hand-carved walking sticks, wood home decor, beard care products, salves and lotions, scarves, lawn decor and much more!
